Embarrassment

I created a sculpture that reflected 'embarrassment' especially the moment someone feels everyone is looking at them when instead people are usually self-absorbed so they don't care to notice. Someone who feels embarrassment feels exposed and unprotected like the raised mark. I chose the colour red due the association with people blushing in embarrassment. As well as this the colour red is found to produce higher stress levels. The raised mark is not central to further highlight that you are not always the centre of people’s attention when you feel you've made a fool of yourself. Whilst someone may feel they stand out for the wrong reasons, they often don't. The idea would be that with refinement the indents and raised point would look exactly the same from an aerial view, so to show that when people feel like they've embarrassed themselves, they honestly haven't stood out.
